Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County
The Veterans Assistance Commission is in the process of developing their own website. In the interim the VFW 4th district has donated a page to make information for members and the public to be informed and offer transparency.
Next VACCC Membership meeting Shall be in 25 June starting at 19hr00 7pm Location TBD of interest the Illinois Attorney Generals Military & Veterans Rights Bureau shall be doing a presentation. It's important that all veterans know their rights and the mission of the Bureau. This is of interest to all veterans not only our members, public welcome. We shall also once again invite our elected representatives.
We are grateful to Lyons Township for hosting our meeting!

For all open meetings there shall be time for public comments not related to agenda items that are limited to 3 minutes. Public and member comments on agenda items shall be addressed when the item comes up and also limited to 3 minutes.

Membership in the VACCC
If you are Federally or State (PA 103-0405 ) chartered and your Post/Chapter/ or other detachment have a minimum of 15 members and 25% of your membership reside in Cook County. Federally Chartered Veterans Organizations are all eligible for membership and need not be state chartered. All other organizations must qualify and become state chartered apply here.
